Parent and Child Achievements

with ICPS -- Ages 4 to 12

AS EARLY AS AGE 4 ICPS KIDS:

Are sensitive to their own and others' feelings.

Can think of more than one way to solve a problem.

Can anticipate the consequences of their acts upon themselves and others.

Are aware of good times and not good times to act.

Can better cope with frustration when they cannot obtain their wish.

ICPS PARENTS:

Find out their child's view of the problem.

Help their children think about their own and others' feelings in problem situation.

Guide their children to think about alternative solutions to problem situations.

Guide their children to think about consequences of their actions.

Encourage their children to evaluate their solutions by whether whether an idea is or is not a good one.
